Introduction: What is an AireXpert Event?
AireXpert Events are fundamental to working in AireXpert — they bring the right people, information, and tools together in one place, and make it possible to organize work around aircraft maintenance.
AireXpert Events are displayed as Event Cards and use the aircrafts tail number, location, and discrepancy to organize work in a central location.
1. From the Live Events Page, Click the "New Event" button
This will open the Event Creation form where you will create a new Event for the aircraft you're working on.
2. Fill in the Event Creation form
You will:
2a. Enter the location of the aircraft
2b. Enter the aircrafts tail number
2c. You can enter a gate number or leave it blank
2d. Enter a brief summary of the discrepancy
Tip: Copy and paste this from your M&E system
2e. Select an ATA code
This can be changed later
2f. Select a maintenance vendor or select "Do not assign at this time"
Tip: Instead of scrolling through all the options, start typing the selection you want. This works for fields like Location, Tail Number, or ATA Code.
3. Click the "Create Event" button
Once you have created the Event, you will be redirected inside of the Event Hub.
This is where the action happens.
