AireXpert Notifications Center

The Notification Center in AireXpert is the place to stay informed about the events and activities that matter most to you.

There are two key areas within the Notification Center:

  • Notifications Feed: All your incoming notifications in a real-time feed.

  • Notification Settings: Customize the notifications you get. Choose how you want to receive them, either on screen or via mobile push notification.

Accessing the Notifications Center

In the left-hand navigation menu, click on Notifications (represented by a bell icon).

This takes you directly to the Notifications Page, which lists all your recent notifications. The Notifications Page displays an ordered list of all notifications sent to you. Each notification shows the event type, the relevant aircraft tail number and location, a brief description, and the date it was triggered.

At the top of the notifications feed, you will find two action buttons:

  • Mark All as Read: Click this to mark all notifications in your feed as read. It clears any unread indicators for all items.

  • Clear All: Removes all notifications from your feed, giving you a clean page. You can use this when you have reviewed your notifications and want to clear the list.

Notification Settings

To open your Notification Settings, click the Edit Settings link seen just below the "Notification Center" page title at the top of the page.

This will take you to the Notification Settings page which contains two tabs at the top:

  • Events: Customize notification preferences for event-related activities (the default tab).

  • Quick Query: Customize notification preferences for Quick Query thread activities.

You can also open the Notification Settings page by clicking on the 3 dot menu on the bottom left corner of your screen and clicking on Notification Settings as seen:

Events Tab

The Events tab lets you manage all your notification settings for event activities. It is divided into two sections: Notification Preferences and Event Categories.

  1. Notification Preferences:

The Notification Preferences section is a collapsible panel at the top of the Events tab. Click on it to expand and reveal the individual notification type settings.

These preferences apply globally to all event notifications. For each notification type, you can:

  • Toggle the notification type on or off entirely using the main toggle on the right.

  • Choose your delivery method by enabling or disabling:

    • On Screen Alert: Displays an alert within the AireXpert application.

    • Mobile (push): Sends a push notification to your mobile device via the AireXpert app.

The following notification types are available under Notification Preferences:

2. Event Categories:

Only main airline users can see the Event Categories section. Maintenance organization users cannot see it.

Below the Notification Preferences panel, you will find the Event Categories section. This lets you manage notifications more precisely. You can choose by event type for each airline or organization you’re linked to.

You can turn notifications on or off for each event category within each group. Categories include:

  • Unscheduled Events

  • Scheduled Events

  • Inspections Events

  • Planned OTS

  • Or any other custom event categories your organization has configured.

When you turn on notifications for a category, you’ll receive updates based on your notification preferences. When you turn it off, you won't get any notifications for that category. This happens no matter what your notification preferences are.

Quick Query Tab

You can see the Quick Query tab only if your organization has Quick Query configured and enabled.

The Quick Query tab lets you manage notification preferences specifically for Quick Query threads. Click the Quick Query tab at the top of the Notification Settings page to access these settings.

The following notification types are available under Quick Query Notifications:

Notification Type

Description

New Quick Query Thread

Get notified when a new Quick Query thread is created.

New Quick Query Message

Get notified when a message is posted to a Quick Query thread.

You can turn the notifications type on/off, just like in the Events tab. Also, you can control delivery through On Screen Alert and/or Mobile (push notification) separately.
