The fifth step will be based on the needs of the situation.
If required, you can work through the corrective action process with the Technician and additional work groups as needed using the AireXpert Event.
1. Apply Event Tags to alert additional departments
If the Event requires visibility from another work group (Engineering, Parts/Materials, etc.) you can apply their corresponding Event Tag.
Event Tags will alert the added work group, notifying them via email.
2. Collaborate with the technician & other departments through the Corrective Action
If the Technician requires assistance or information from other departments, have them share details from the aircraft.
You can request they send photos for easy visibility. You can view any photos sent directly from the media viewer in Event.
3. You can send messages to be seen by the everyone or select groups
In the Event Hub, you can send messages that will be seen by everyone involved in the Event (Comments) or messages that will only be visible to select users (Notes).
Simply toggle between the two options, type your message, select who it should be seen by(Notes Only) and click the "Add Comment / Note" button.
4. Apply ETR's or Advise Time Countdown Timers
Controllers can set ETR or Advise Time Counters to keep progress on track. From the Options Menu, select "Change ETR / Advise Time" and pick set your timer.
