How to Manage Maintenance Status

Step-by-step tutorial to setting a Maintenance Status in the Event Management Panel

Inside the Event Hub you can easily manage the status of maintenance on the aircraft.

Maintenance Status

Inside of the Event Hub, in the middle of the Event Management Panel, you’ll find a ‘Checkin Status’ or ‘Work Status’ button.

This option can be used by either the Maintenance Crew or Maintenance Control to indicate Maintenance Arrival at the aircraft and track Maintenance Status along the way.

There are 4 Status Updates:

Arrived

  • When an Event is created the initial status will always be ‘Not yet arrived’.

  • Once any user indicates initial arrival using the ‘Checkin Status’ option the Event status will change to ‘Arrived’ for all users.

Active

  • Maintenance Organization users can set their status as active to indicate they are on the aircraft working on this issue.

  • Maintenance Control users can set the status to active to indicate Maintenance is active on an aircraft.

Inactive

  • Maintenance Organization users can set their status as inactive to indicate they are not currently working on this issue.

  • Maintenance Control users can set the status to active to indicate Maintenance is not currently working on the aircraft.

Complete - Off Aircraft

  • Setting the Maintenance Status to complete will make the Event blue on the Event Dashboard, indicating that Maintenance has been completed.
