AireXpert 101: Understanding Quick Query

An overview of Quick Query; A central inbox for quick communication with anyone global via SMS or WhatsApp.

Events in AireXpert are the main form of communication but under certain circumstances you may need to communicate with someone before an Event has been created or after an Event has been closed.

Whether it’s a pilot reporting an issue or a contract technician sending a log page; Quick Query, a way to communicate outside of an AireXpert Event, can be help.

What is Quick Query?

(a) Quick Query provides your Airline’s Maintenance Control a single phone number that is linked to a centralized SMS and WhatsApp inbox.

(b) This inbox is shared by all Controllers and allows anyone, anywhere in the world to send text messages that will be received and visible to all Controllers at your airline.

(c) In addition to receiving messages or photos, Controllers can respond and communicate directly with the sender.

(d) Quick Query helps reduce call volume and hold times for faster response and resolution.

Using Quick Query

On the Quick Query page you’ll find two sections:

1. The Quick Query Inbox

(a) The Inbox will display conversations as threads. All conversation threads are visible to other Controllers at your airline.

2. Your Airlines Quick Query Information

(a) The right side of the page contains an info panel where you can find your Airline’s dedicated Quick Query Phone Number. Additionally, you can easily share your number using the “Share Text-in Number” button.

The Quick Query Inbox & Conversation Threads

In the Inbox, conversations will be displayed as Threads.

When you click on a Thread a messenger will open where you can:

(a) See messages or photos from the sender.

(b) Respond to the sender; send your own messages or files

(c) Export messages or conversations from Quick Query to an AireXpert Event
