There are two primary types of organizations represented in AireXpert: Airline Organizations & Maintenance Organizations
1. Airline Organization (Airline SOC / OCC)
This organization represents your airline's central operations and maintenance control center. Users within this organization are considered internal to your airline.
Users assigned to your Airline Organization automatically have access to any Event created using one of your Airlines Aircraft.
Airline Organization Administrators can manage features like Event Tags, which can be used for visibility and triggering notifications to specific groups or individuals.
2. Maintenance Organizations
These organizations are distinct entities involved in performing the actual aircraft maintenance work.
There are two categories: Airline Operated maintenance stations and Contract/On-Call maintenance providers.
Unlike users in your Airline Organization, typically, Maintenance Organizations do not automatically have access to an Event.
Access for a Maintenance Organization is provided by assigning them to the Event.
This assignment is can be done by manually selection from available Maintenance Providers at the Event's location.
For Airline Operated Maintenance Stations, the assignment process (and therefore access) can be automated.
Once a Maintenance Organization is assigned to an Event, any user at that specific Maintenance Organization will gain access to the Event via the AireXpert web or mobile application.
This fundamental difference in how these two types of organizations gain access to and interact with AireXpert Events is a core concept in understanding the platform's workflow and communication structure.
