Supervisors & Leads: Managing Operations

In this bonus step Supervisors & Leads will learn how to manage their operation using features in AireXpert to apply tags, request parts, and set deadlines.


Apply Event Tags to alert departments

If the Event requires visibility from another work group (Engineering, Parts/Materials, etc.) you can apply their corresponding Event Tag.

Event Tags will alert the added work group, notifying them via email.


Request Parts

a) Inside of the Event Hub, toward the top of the Event Management Panel, locate and click the ‘Options Menu’. This will open the Options drop-down menu

(b) Click the ‘Add Parts/Materials Info’ option. This will open the Parts/Materials panel on your screen.

(c) In the Parts/Materials panel, click the ‘General Info’ textbox and enter the information you would like to send as a Parts/Materials Message then click

‘Save’.

(d) Once you click ‘Save’ your message will post in the Event Timeline with a label indicating that the message has Parts/Materials in it for visibility.

(e) Parts/Materials Messages can be filtered using the Event Timeline Filters for easy visibility.


Apply ETR's or Advise Time Countdown Timers

You can set ETR or Advise Time Counters to keep progress on track. From the Options Menu, select "Change ETR / Advise Time" and pick set your timer.
