How to provide Event Access by Temporary Invitation

Step-by-step tutorial to providing Event Access in AireXpert: Providing access to Users via Temporary SMS, Email or WhatsApp invites.

You can provide temporary access to any person globally, using only their email or phone number.

This tutorial will show you how to:

1. Send a temporary invite via Email, SMS*, or WhatsApp*

2. Remove Event Access from invited users

*AireXpert integrates directly with SMS and WhatsApp, offering a dedicated messaging experience. Users can send and receive messages or files directly from their preferred Messaging app—no account setup required.

1. Send a temporary invite via Email, SMS, or WhatsApp

(a) Inside the Event Hub for an existing Event, navigate to the right side Event Management Options Menu.

(b) Inside the Options Menu, select "Invite Users". This will open the Invite Panel on your screen.

(c) Enter the invitee’s phone number or email and click "Invite User".

(d) Wait to see the status update "SMS User Joined" before sending messages you want them to receive.

(e) Once the technician has accepted the invite. you can collaborate with them directly in the Event to troubleshoot the issue.


2. Remove Event Access from Invited Users

(a) Inside the Event Hub for an existing Event, navigate to the right side Event Management Panel.

(b) Locate the “Active Users” section and find the name of the user you would like to remove access from.

(c) Hover over the users name, once you hover over their name an “X” will appear on the right side of their row.

(d) Click on the “X” next to their name to remove their access. AireXpert will ask for confirmation, confirm you would like to remove that user from the Event.
